Object pronouns

Object pronouns are those pronouns that receive the action in a sentence. They are me, you, him, her, us, them, and whom. Any noun receiving an action in the sentence, like these pronouns, is an object and is categorized as objective case.

Subject pronouns

Subject pronouns are those pronouns that perform the action in a sentence. They are I, you, he, she, we, they, and who.

Possesive pronouns

A possessive pronoun is a pronoun that is used to express ownership or possession. For example, the word hers is a possessive pronoun in the sentence Charlotte noticed that Seth's dog was bigger than hers.

WH Question Words

We use question words to ask certain types of questions (question word questions).

We often refer to these words as WH words because they include the letters WH (for example WHy, HoW).
